Supporting ERBID2 - English Riviera Business Improvement District

Supporting ERBID2 - English Riviera Business Improvement District

Earlier this year the ERBID published its draft consultation business plan for 2022-27. The ballot takes place between 27 May and 24 June and will determine whether Torbay continues to benefit from a proactive BID. We are supporting BID2 because of the benefits it brings to the visitor economy, destination marketing, and support it provides local businesses, large and small.

Torbay Culture at TDA has worked with ERBID in recent years on several partnership projects, including developing a vision for cultural tourism, and initiatives such as the Writers on the Riviera and Speed Up and Slow Down. These are developments on which we want to build. During the COVID-19 pandemic the ERBID and Torbay Culture have worked closely together, including advocating for support and investment in the bay; and we want to do more of this in 2022 and beyond. You can watch the Chair of Torbay Culture’s message of support for BID2 below.
